District Lahaul Spiti Police are happy to inform that in the year 2022, approximately 6,22,988 vehicles have entered through Atal Tunnel Rohtang(ATR) in Lahaul valley and around 6,50,711 vehicles exited through ATR, which is 12,73,699 vehicles in total during the year, in comparison to 7,99,941 vehicles in year 2021

Therefore, there has been an increase of approximately 4.73 Lac vehicles compared to previous year 2022. This is an approximate 60% percentage increase from the vehicular traffic number recorded previous year.

District Lahaul & Spiti have been up to the task and have worked around the year to regulate traffic smoothly without any laxity. In the upcoming year, the District Lahaul & Spiti Police is ready to welcome more visitors to the district with full dedication and utmost professional outlook.
