The Republic Day was celebrated in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, today with much gaiety, patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Acting Chief Justice, Sabina, followed by the National Anthem, played by Himachal Pradesh Police Band.

The Republic Day was celebrated in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, today with much gaiety, patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Acting Chief Justice, Sabina, followed by the National Anthem, played by Himachal Pradesh Police Band. The Acting Chief Justice unfurled the National Flag and inspected the Guard of Honour in the august presence of  Judges of the High Court, Justice Justice Vivek Singh Thaur, Justice Jyotsna Rewal Dua, and Justice Virender Singh.

            Among other prominent dignitaries present on the occasion were the Chairperson, H.P. State Human Rights Commission, Justice P.S. Rana, Shri Balram Sharma, Deputy Solicitor General of India, Senior Advocates and other members of High Court Bar Association. The Registrar General and other Registrars, Central Project Coordinator, Member Secretary, H.P. State Legal Services Authority, Director, H.P. Judicial Academy, District & Sessions Judge, Shimla, Judicial Officers posted at Shimla, were also present on the occasion. The officers and officials of the High Court Registry, District Courts Shimla, Office of the Advocate General, Assistant Solicitor General of India, H.P. Judicial Academy, H.P. State Legal Services Authority, and other Offices based in High Court premises participated in the Republic Day celebrations.
