Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu held a meeting with officers of various departments at SDM office in Kwar of district Shimla today to review the ongoing development works in Dodra-Kwar area.
The Chief Minister said that improving the road network in this area was the priority of the state government and efforts would be made to pave the kutcha roads so that people do not face any kind of problem.
While directing to complete all the FCA formalities for the construction of 12 km long Pandar road as soon as possible, he said that this road would be constructed on priority. He also directed the Public Works Department to pave the road from SDM office to Civil Hospital Kwar.
Shri Sukhu said that a new building of SDM and Tehsildar office will be constructed in Kwar for which the government would provide adequate funds. A new building of Civil Hospital Kwar would also be constructed along-with residences for doctors. He assured that the state government would provide funds for repair of Dhandwadi School. He said that the state government was giving priority to the development of remote areas and there was no shortage of funds for development works.
He said that for the first time, Himachal Day was celebrated in Spiti valley during the tenure of the present state government, which shows the commitment of the present state government for the development of tribal and remote areas.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mohan Lal Brakta, Secretary to Chief Minister Rakesh Kanwar, Secretary Ashish Singhmar, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap and other officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
