Under the mentorship of the 14th Battalion, NDRF, HP- SDRF team secured first Position in National CSSR Competition-2025.

Under the visionary leadership and guidance of Commandant, 14th Battalion, NDRF, Himachal Pradesh, the SDRF team achieved first position in National Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue (CSSR) competition 2025. The National CSSR Competition was organized at the 8th Battalion, NDRF, Ghaziabad, from 21st to 23rd April 2025.
The 14th Battalion, NDRF, had earlier provided a 7days training session to the Himachal Pradesh SDRF team in Battalion HQ campus Jassur, Nurpur from 3rd to 9th March 2025, which helped the team to secure first position at the regional level competition. Thereafter, the team underwent intensive 25 days training from 24th March to 19th April 2025, conducted again at the 14th Battalion HQ campus Jassur, Nurpur. Continuous efforts, supervision, and dedication of NDRF mentor trainers and the hard work and commitment of the Himachal Pradesh SDRF team, they were able to achieve first position at the national CSSR competition.


The National CSSR Competition – 2025 was inaugurated by Shri Piyush Anand, Director General, NDRF, on 21st April 2025 at the 8th Battalion, NDRF, Ghaziabad. The closing ceremony of 03 days long competition was held on 24 April 2025 at 08th Battalion, NDRF, Ghaziabad. The Chief Guest, Shri Piyush Anand (IPS), Director General, NDRF, awarded the winning team (HP-SDRF) with a cash prize of ₹1,00,000(One Lakh), medals, and the winner’s trophy. In this competition, the second position was secured by Uttarakhand SDRF, and the third position by Andhra Pradesh SDRF.


This success stands as a testament to the dedication, training, and excellence of the 14th Battalion NDRF and the Himachal Pradesh SDRF in the field of disaster management.
