Deputy Commissioner Kalpa Dr. on the successful event of Kinnaur Kailash Yatra to be held from August 1 to August 26, 2024 Meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Major Shashank Gupta. He instructed the officials of all departments in the district regarding the planning of travel to complete all the necessary preparations on time to make the trip safe and smooth for the passengers.
The journey will just begin with Tagling on August 1, 2024 the survey team will be made considering the weather and route conditions.
He said that Rs 1300 per devotees and Rs 700 without food rates were fixed by the administration to accommodate tents planted by private institutions during the Kinnaur Kailash Yatra and legal action against them for collecting more than the mentioned rates Will go. Toilets will be arranged at every 500 meters for the convenience of pilgrims.
He asked police and homeguard officers to deploy sufficient soldiers to deal with the safety of passengers and emergency situation. In addition to this they also instructed to form a quick response team. He instructed the medical department officials to meet all kinds of medical requirements during the visit and provide medical facilities at most places of the visit.
