Government of India has awarded the President’s Police Medal (PPM) for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PMMS) to five Police Officers of Himachal Pradesh.

On the occasion of Republic Day-2023 President’s Police Medal (PPM) for Distinguished Service has been awarded to Satwant Atwal Trivedi, ADGP-SV&ACB, Shimla and Police Medal for Meritorious Service has been awarded to the four police officers of Himachal Pradesh Police Rahul Sharma, Dy.SP, FSL Junga.Jitender Singh, Asstt. Commandant, 1§ HPAP Bn JungaSub Inspector Inder Dutt, 1* HPAP Bn Junga ,Head Constable Susheel Kumar, SV&ACB, Shimla.
