हिमाचल प्रदेश की राजधानी शिमला के उपमंडल ठियोग के कोटखाई तहसील के खड़ा पत्थर में पुलिस को नशे के खिलाफ बड़ी कामयाबी मिली है। पुलिस ने लगभग आधा किलो चिट्टे के साथ नशा तस्कर को गिरफ्तार किया है।पुलिस के मुताबिक बुधवार को एएस आई मेहरचंद व उनकी टीम खड़ापत्थर में पेट्रोलिंग पर थी। इस दौरान उन्हें एक मुखबिर से एक सूचना मिली कि कश्मीर से आया व्यक्ति अपने साथ भारी मात्रा में चिट्टा लेकर आया है और वह उसे रोहड़ू क्षेत्र में पहुंचाने वाला है।पुलिस को सूचना मिलते ही चिट्टा तरस्कर को धर दबोचने के लिए जाल बिछाया। क्षेत्र में हर जगह नाकाबंदी की गई और उसको ट्रेस करते रहे जिसके बाद कुछ देरी में पुलिस ने उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया ।पुलिस ने बताया कि आरोपी की पहचान मुद्दासिर अहमद निवासी गांव भटपुरा पोस्ट ऑफिस सुनितपुरा तहसील करोलपुरा जिला कुपवाड़ा जम्मू कश्मीर के रूप में हुई है।
A case FIR dated 19/09/2024 U/S 21 ND&PS Act has been registered on the a team led by Siddhartha Sharma that on dated 18/09/2024 when a team at khadapather. An information received from informer that Mudasir Ahmed Mochi S/O Sh. Mohd. Makbool village Bhatpura PO Sunitpura Teshil karolpura Distt. Kupwara J&K is carrying chitta/heroin with him in heavy quantity and will deliver that contraband to a big Peddler of Rohru. On this information joint team of PS kotkhai and Antf conducted the Nakabandi along with staff and independent witnesses. The above-mentioned person Mudasir Ahmed Mochi was detained and in the presence of SDPO Theog and SHO Kotkhai 468.380 grams Chitta/Heroin was recovered from Mudasir Ahmed Mochi.
The case has been registered under NDPS act and further investigation is being done by SIT headed by SHO Theog INSP Jaswant Singh including sho Kotkhai SI Ankush Thakur and HC Anil, PS Kotkhai.
The accused has been arrested and his links to the main kingpin named SHAHI MAHATMA from Rohru are being established. Shahi Mahatma is the main kingpin of interstate drug racket in Rohru area. 5 FIRs under NDPS act have been registered against 9 persons who were part of the Drug racket of shahi mahatma.

आरोपी मोची का काम करता है और चिट्टा का बड़ा सप्लायर है। पुलिस ने बुधवार को उससे 468.380 ग्राम चिट्टा बरामद किया है।उधर, पुलिस ने मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा कि आरोपी के खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया। आरोपी से पूछताछ की जा रही है कि शिमला के खड़ापत्थर या रोहड़ू में किसे चिट्टे की सप्लाई देने जा रहा था।
