Two-day Training on Energy Conservation and Sustainable Development begins at Himachal Pradesh University
“The energy sector is poised to become the biggest job provider in the coming years,” said Prof. Mahavir Singh, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), while inaugurating a two-day training programme on “Energy Conservation and Sustainable Development: Aspects in Himachal Pradesh.”
The programme has been organized jointly by the Directorate of Energy, Government of Himachal Pradesh, the Centre for Green Energy and Nano-Technology, and the Himalayan Centre for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience (HIM-DR³), HPU. It is supported by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and coordinated by Global Evolutionary Energy Design (GEED).
