Kaza-Sumdo Road is blocked due to heavy rain fall, debris, and landslides, making it unsafe for travel, informs Lahaul Spiti police administration. Further stated that everyone is informed that the route from Kaza to Sumado has been blocked in several places due to continuous heavy rainfall. It is unsafe to travel due to waterfall, debris and landslides on the route.

All are requested to advise tourists not to travel and encourage them to stay in safe places. Also local residents and tourists are requested to avoid unnecessary travel under any situation.

District police are continuously monitoring the situation and road restoration work is in progress. Further notice will be issued as the route smooths.
