  • Rs. 220 crore to be spent on 32 MW solar power plant at Pekhubela: CM

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and performed the foundation stone laying ceremonies of 18 different developmental projects worth Rs. 287.68 crore for Una district.
Amongst inauguration are Rs. 2.03 crore drinking water scheme Jankaur, Rs 1.71 crore drinking water scheme Kuthar Kalan, Rs. 2.02 crore drinking water scheme Nangdan, Rs. 1.01 crore Lift Irrigation Scheme Khanpur, Rs. 62 lakh Veterinary hospital building Santoshgarh, Rs. 2.37 crore newly constructed tehsil building Ghanari, Rs. 1.66 crore newly constructed bridge on Mawa Scindhia Khad and Rs. 1.33 crore Mini Service Building constructed in industrial area Gagret.


He laid foundation stone of Rs. 220 crore solar power plant of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited at Pekhubela in Una assembly constituency. A target has been set to complete the construction work of this 32 MW solar power plant by January, 2024. This solar power project will generate an annual income of Rs. 27.71 crore and will be capable of producing electricity for the next 25 years.
He also laid foundation stones of Rs. 4.65 crore Raipur to Bakhwa via Mallan da Pind link road, Rs. 6.71 crore link road for Mohalla Kharsian Ward No. 3 Paros, Mohalla Ajipal, Shivbari Jindpur, Mohalla Guma Meda Khaddar, Rs. 5 crore Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School to be built in village Sanghanai of Gagret assembly constituency, expansion of drinking water scheme for Dholpur town at a cost of Rs 5.20 crore, drinking water scheme for village Baroh Kalruhi at a cost of Rs. 2.13 crore, Expansion and improvement of Rs. 2.54 crore drinking water scheme of village Babehad and improvement of village Joh drinking water scheme, Nangal Jaryalan and Ganu Mandwana drinking water scheme to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.46 crore, 20 tube wells to be built in Gagret assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 18.76 crore, Flow Irrigation scheme to be installing at a cost of Rs. 7.22 crore for Amlaihar Bhanjal, tube well number 60 and 95 in Kaloh, tube well in Mawa Kohlan (cremation ground and Bhatta) and tube well in Rampur (Mubarakpur).
He also distributed an amount of Rs. 4.10 crore among the disaster affected families. An assistance amounting to Rs. 76.08 lakh was provided for Amb sub-division, Rs. 85.94 lakh for Gagret, Rs. 48.14 lakh for Una sub-division, Rs. 82.15 lakh for Haroli sub-division and Rs. 1.17 crore for Bangana sub-division.
