The Legal Aid Clinic of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, under the aegis of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Vice Chancellor, HPNLU, organized a documentary screening ‘The Bus Stop’, on rights of elderly persons, filmed by Mr. Vivek Mohan.
The event was initiated with great enthusiasm by the presence of committee members and students, who gathered to welcome the guest speaker. Mr. Vivek Mohan was felicitated and was extended a warm welcome in an addressing speech appreciating his commendable work and achievements. Mr. Mohan engaged the students with an insightful talk, sharing the motive, efforts, and the social cause behind his documentary.
The documentary was showcased for the audience, followed by another interactive session where Mr. Mohan addressed the viewers once again. The documentary beautifully showcased the problems and difficulties faced by the elder women. The audience took active part in the session, raising thoughtful questions and engaging in an enthusiastic discussion about the themes and issues presented in the documentary.
The event was organized by Dr. Alok Kumar (Chairperson) and Dr. Ruchi Gupta (Faculty Convenor) along with Saurabh Sadhwani (Student Convenor) Legal Aid Clinic, HPNLU, Shimla.
