The Government of Himachal Pradesh has appointed Shashi Sharma, son of Late Sh. Tilak Raj Sharma of Village & Post Office Ner Chowk, Distt. Mandi, as the Vice Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Water Management Board, effective immediately. The notification, issued by the Jal Shakti Vibhag on November 25, 2025, states that the terms and conditions of the appointment will be issued separately. The order has been uploaded in the e-gazette of the H.P. Government.
The appointment is signed by Rakhil Kahlon, Secretary (Jal Shakti), and the copy has been forwarded to various state and central government officials, department heads, and the appointee.
