November 23, 2023 – The much-awaited Bedeian Alumni Meet is set to unfold on November 25, 2023, at the Eastbourne Hotel in Chhota Shimla. Bede’s, known for its legacy of excellence, invites alumni to immerse themselves in a day of nostalgic reverie and joyous celebration.
The event kicks off at 12 noon on nov 25 with vibrant stalls offering an array of memorabilia and keepsakes, ensuring alumni can shop till they drop. The festivities continue with a traditional Himachal Dhaam lunch at 2 pm, featuring a delectable spread to delight the taste buds.
For those seeking a glimpse into the future, a “Sanchawala” from Chopal will be available from 12 noon onwards to read fortunes, adding an element of mystique to the gathering. Simultaneously, alumni can capture their memories on scribble boards, creating a visual tapestry of shared experiences.
The afternoon promises a jamboree of games, prizes, chit-chat sessions, hugs, traditional Himachali dance, tambola, and a lucky dip starting after lunch. The festivities will be a perfect blend of nostalgia and fun, bringing alumni together in an atmosphere of camaraderie.
As the sun sets, alumni are encouraged to put on their gowns and dancing shoes for an electrifying dance party starting at 6:30 pm. DJ Wale Babu will be at the command, spinning tracks that echo the spirit of Bede’s. The gala dinner, featuring sumptuous delicacies, will be accompanied by bonfire stories, antakshari, and stargazing, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
The night is not just about revelry; it’s about forging timeless ties and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The pyjama party, set against the backdrop of twinkling stars, will continue until the wee hours of dawn, promising a night of laughter, music, and camaraderie.
The Alumni Meet will culminate on November 26, 2023, with a series of events at Bede’s, including a welcome speech by Admiral, the lighting of the lamp, captivating performances, the screening of the alumni film, stand-up comedy, and the Bedeian batch walk. The day will conclude with a grand cake cutting ceremony and refreshments.
