हिमाचल प्रदेश के छह बार मुख्यमंत्री रहे चुके वीरभद्र सिंह का चतुर्वार्षिक श्राद्ध मंगलवार को रामपुर के पदम महल परिसर में हुआ। विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से परिसर में पहुँचे हजारों लोगों ने श्रद्धांजलि देकर उन्हें याद किया।हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्यपाल शिव प्रताप शुक्ल, कैबिनेट मंत्रियों, विधायकों समेत प्रदेश के कोने-कोने से आए उनके समर्थकों ने रामपुर पहुंचकर नम आँखों से श्रद्धांजलि देकर अनुभवों को समरण किया । सुबह सवेरे से देर साँय तक उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए लोगों का तांता लगा रहा। खराब मौसम की वजह से सीएम सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू रामपुर नहीं पहुंचे । उनकी पत्नी विधायक कमलेश ठाकुर ने श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए।
चतुवार्षिक श्राद्ध को लेकर सुबह 6:00 बजे से हल्के वाहनों को बजीर बावड़ी से वाया झाकड़ी होकर भेजा गया। इस दौरान विभिन्न क्षेत्र से काफी संख्या में लोग आए और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री को श्रद्धांजलि देकर चले गए। इस दौरान विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से आईं महिलाओं ने नम आखों से वीरभद्र को श्रद्धांजलि देकर उन्हें नमन किया। पुलिस ने सुरक्षा को लेकर पुख्ता प्रबंध किए थे।
राज्यपाल ने कहा, “वीरभद्र सिंह ने धर्मांतरण के खिलाफ कानून बनाकर हिमाचल की संस्कृति और आस्था की रक्षा के लिए जो कदम उठाया, वह उनकी देवभूमि के प्रति गहरी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है. उन्होंने प्रदेश की पवित्रता और सांस्कृतिक पहचान को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए निस्वार्थ भाव से कार्य किया, जो उन्हें एक सच्चे सांस्कृतिक संरक्षक के रूप में स्थापित करता है”.राज्यपाल ने कहा कि वीरभद्र सिंह एक महान राजनेता, दूरदर्शी नेतृत्वकर्ता और जनता के सच्चे सेवक थे. उन्होंने हिमाचल प्रदेश के चहुमुखी विकास के लिए जो योगदान दिया, वह आज भी प्रदेशवासियों के हृदय में अमिट रूप से अंकित है. उनका जनसेवा से जुड़ा जीवन भावी पीढ़ियों के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत है.
इस दौरान विधानसभा अध्यक्ष कुलदीप सिंह पठानिया, विधानसभा उपाध्यक्ष विनय कुमार, स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डाॅ. कर्नल धनी राम शांडिल, कृषि मंत्री चंद्र कुमार, उद्योग मंत्री हर्षवर्धन चौहान, शिक्षा मंत्री रोहित ठाकुर, आयुष मंत्री यादविंद्र गोमा, राज्य वित्त आयोग के अध्यक्ष नंदलाल, विधायक आरएस बाली, मोहन लाल ब्राक्टा, संजय रतन, राम कुमार चौधरी, हरीश जनारथा, आशीष बुटेल, विधायक कमलेश ठाकुर, पूर्व मंत्री कौल सिंह, पूर्व विधायक आशा कुमारी, रामलाल ठाकुर, प्रकाश चौधरी, सुरेश भारद्वाज, नीरज भारती, मंजीत डोगरा, चेतराम और निगमों व बोर्डो के अध्यक्षों ने भी भाग लिया। उपायुक्त शिमला अनुपम कश्यप, एसपी गौरव सिंह, उपमंडल अधिकारी रामपुर हर्ष अमरेन्द्र सिंह भी इस दौरान मौजूद रहे।
Former Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh had made former MLA of Chaupal Dr. Subhash Manglet his second son, when Virbhadra Singh had passed away, Subhash Manglet had done all the responsibilities which a son performs on the demise of his father. Shaving shoulder, giving fire, taking bones immersed in Haridwar and bathing Ganga were all duties and still doing it.
Vikramaditya Singh also knows what Dr. Subhash Manglet was for Virbhadra Singh ji, so at such a time Vikramaditya Singh did what brother would do what is seen in this picture. Political paths may be different, but love is the same in the hearts of both today as well.

On this occasion, he met Virbhadra Singh’s wife Pratibhadra Singh and his son and public works minister Vikramaditya Singh in the current government.
On this occasion Pradesh Congress President Pratibhash Singh sharing his emotional views and told Subhash Manglet that you are my second son for me because I have considered you as my second son. I am personally overwhelmed with your presence.
No matter what party you are in, I don’t have political but family relationships with you and it will always be. Although Subhash Manglet has left Congress and joined BJP, the attitude of Virbhadra family towards him shows how big Subhash Manglet was in the eyes of Virbhadra Singh and how close he was to Virbhadra Singh. 15 जुलाई को वीरभद्र की प्रतिमा का अनावरण
विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने कहा कि रिज मैदान पर वीरभद्र सिंह की प्रतिमा स्थापित कर दी गई है। इसका अनावरण 15 जुलाई को किया जाएगा। पहले अनावरण कार्यक्रम 23 जून को रखा गया था, लेकिन आला कमान ने इस समारोह में आने की इच्छा जताई है। इसके चलते समारोह को 15 जुलाई के लिए निर्धारित किया गया है।
