In a matter of great pride for the tribal communities of Himachal Pradesh, particularly Kinnaur district, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the inclusion of P. Dorje Gyamba in the panel for promotion to the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG), Level–15 of the Pay Matrix, in the Central Water Engineering Services (CWES).
Dorje Gyamba, a 1994 batch officer, hails from the small tribal village of Pooh in Kinnaur district. His empanelment to this prestigious grade is a recognition of his long-standing dedication, professional competence and exemplary service in the field of water resources and engineering administration.
Widely respected for his integrity and commitment to public service, Shri Gyamba’s achievement is being seen as a landmark moment for the tribal community, inspiring youth from remote and border areas to aspire for excellence in the civil services.
Members of the tribal community have expressed confidence that his vast experience and leadership will significantly contribute to strengthening water security, sustainable water resource management, and development initiatives, especially in tribal and far-flung regions of the country.
Dorje Gyamba has been extended warm congratulations and best wishes for continued success in his new and elevated role.
