Transfers ordered in the public interest; fresh appointments in Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti, Solan, and Shimla

The Himachal Pradesh Government has ordered the transfer and posting of seven Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers with immediate effect. The Department of Personnel issued the notification on Monday, stating that the transfers were made in the public interest.
As per the orders:
- Ankur Thakur (HPAS 2024) has been posted as Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Baddi (District Solan).
- Ajay Kumar Singh (HPAS 2025) has been appointed Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner, Lahaul & Spiti at Keylong, replacing Kalyani Gupta (HPAS 2025).
- Vivek Kumar Negi (HPAS 2025) takes charge as Joint Commissioner, State Taxes & Excise, Shimla, replacing Sanjay Kumar (HPAS 2017).
- Rajesh Kumar (HPAS 2025) becomes SDO (Civil), Bharmour, District Chamba, replacing Kulbir Singh Rana (HPAS 2016).
- Jagdish Chand (HPAS 2025) joins as Additional District Magistrate, Kaza, replacing Shikha (HPAS 2021).
- Chetan Chauhan (HPAS 2025) is appointed SDO (Civil), Churah at Tissa, District Chamba.
- Sanjeet Sharma (HPAS 2025) will now serve as Assistant Settlement Officer, Arki, District Solan, replacing Narender Kumar-II (HPAS 2015).
The transfers are effective immediately, as per the notification signed by the Department of Personnel, Government of Himachal Pradesh.
