Won all four by-elections and now will win assembly elections – Singla

Congress national spokesperson and former Punjab minister Vijay Inder Singla has slammed Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his remarks on Congress leaders. He has said that the way Amit Shah commented about the former Chief Minister and the builder of modern Himachal, it has hurt the sentiments of the people of Himachal and the people of the state will reply on November 12.
Singla said that the entire Himachal was a family for Lt Virbhadra Singh and in such a situation Amit Shah’s remark is a comment made on the people of Himachal. He said that the people of Himachal have always given their love to Virbhadra Singh and because of that he has been the Chief Minister of Himachal six times. He said that the BJP leader talks of nepotism on the Congress, but does not see it in his own house.
Vijay Inder Singla said that the BJP had got a crushing defeat in the by-elections held in Himachal last year and now the BJP’s farewell from Himachal is fixed. He said that usually by-elections go in favor of the ruling party, but it did not happen here. Here the Congress won all the by-elections due to the failures of the BJP government. He said that Amit Shah came to Himachal and did not mention the BJP government of the state, as there is no achievement of this government. He said that now the people of Himachal will hit hard against the BJP government and Congress is going to form the government here.
The Congress leader said that the BJP government in Himachal did not provide employment to the youth and the paper leaked in the recruitment. He said that there are about 9 lakh registered unemployed in the state and they are not getting employment. The BJP government had organized a Global Investor Meet here and signed MoUs worth Rs 96 thousand crores, but they did not get off the ground and the youth have not got employment. He said that the situation today is that the unemployment rate in Himachal is higher than the national rate.
Singla said that Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has promised the youth of Himachal that one lakh jobs will be approved in the first cabinet meeting if the government is formed. He said that Congress has given guarantee of employment to the youth and the party will work on fulfilling it from the first cabinet meeting itself. He said that the BJP has been stunned by the 10 guarantees of the Congress and now in desperation has started making rhetorical statements. He said that whatever promises the Congress has made to the people, it fulfills them and does not forget them after making promises like the BJP.
